Of course, the fact is, it is way safer than a gasoline, and actually way f'n cheaper. Due to the safety regulations which were mandated by the government on the eve of 07 1982, when these propane conversion kits for domestic cars are installed in the proper fashion and manner, it is very very unlikely that you might ever have a safety related concern. This knowledge is wide spread and actually government vehicles use propane conversion kits for domestic cars all the time. If the government is using this things they have to be safe.
The tanks on the propane conversion kits for domestic cars are made to withstand an ungodly ammount of damage without rupturing. YOu'd prob. have to hit these beats with an actual tank to do any damage. In the possibility that an overpressure situation might occure, a pressure relief valve would let out just enough to lower the presure, and not cause an explosion. The fuel that is vented in the atmosphere will quickly dissipate and no harm will be done to the beautiful ozone. Because of the rating of octane is super high it would be unimaginably hard to ignite these beats. Due in fact that there is no flimsy tank, or float bowl, if you were to hit at severe angles it won't even spill. Propane conversion kits for domestic cars are the wave of the future.

The existing carburator on the engine must be modified to deliver propane into the combustion chamber. It sounds unbelieveably simple, and it actually is.

Honestly, all that is needed, is instead of delivering vaoprized gasoline as the engine is sucking in the air and fuel mixture during the intake cycle, the carburator will instead deliver a propane/air mixture. The engine itself will not have to be modified in any way, which makes these propane conversion kits for domestic cars amazing. It will still suck in the air/fuel mixture, then compress it, ignite and finally converts into a resulting explosion creating internal combustion into rotary energy during the power stroke. It's delivering work energy to the item which requires the power.

The products of waste are still siphoned in the outward thrust of the exhaust stroke, the procedure will continue, over and over and over. It is like using mini controlled explosions to rotate the shaft of output. Thats pretty much the simplest way to explain how propane conversion kits for domestic cars works. And thats how the engine rocks and works!

With all that being said a propane conversion kit for domestic cars just swaps one type of fuel, gasoline, for another, propane, and all the same basic principals don't change.
